So Freestyle express were Tony Butler,Garfield Baker,Byron Smith, Sherman Neely. As far as I know, Butler also cut other classic electro tracks (Debbie Deb!!!)... These guys were prolific, and a lot of their songs were soundtracks to the golden era of b-boying and locking.The original version of this track is dope, if you like non-stop mono-tonal vocoders for several minutes (who doesn't). For playing out purposes, F.U.N.K. and I tweaked it touch and just kept the golden bit.

There is also a killer version of this song re-worked by Daniel Haaksman - head of MAN recordings in Berlin, a label that specializes in Baile Funk from the slums of Rio. Frankly, I don't understand how that connection works, but the remix speaks for itself.
